The Human Resources Department searches for top applicants who are then trained to provide friendly, high quality service to our customers. Driver applicants must meet some of the most rigorous standards in the industry, including knowledge of the area, map reading ability, excellent driving records and defensive driving skills.

Training

Human Resources oversees a comprehensive ongoing training program for Drivers ensuring that all customer service is in the hands of competent professionals.

Personnel Management

Unity Courier Service employees are reviewed regularly to ensure that company standards are maintained. Driving records are continuously monitored through the DMV Pull Notice Program.

All Drivers are fully insured and will arrive at customer locations in uniform with photo identification badges displayed. Unity Supervisors can be distinguished by their blue striped shirts, and all Drivers and Supervisors are equipped with cellular phones.

Unity Drivers are required to check-in with dispatch one hour before shifts to ensure route coverage. Delays, customer requests or problems encountered on route are immediately communicated to Shift Managers for resolution.

Key Security

A strict control program managed by the Human Resources Department protects all customer keys. All customer keys are tracked with a unique code numbering system. Keys are never labeled and therefore cannot be identified be non-employees.
